In assessing the project, we were struck by the monumental architecture of the building and decided to enlighten and modernise the chain’s Baroque mood. Our objective was to do this whilst simultaneously preserving its comfort and adding to it a contemporary theatricality or “wow factor”! No longer a Baroque cliché, this Bistro Romain franchise now has enhanced appeal plus an upmarket groceries section. This is a perfect example of the successful evolution of an emblematic brand.
