Planet Sushi - The "Testaurant"

Renowned for setting the pace in Japanese cuisine abroad, Planet Sushi has developed a strong identity over time thanks to its avant-garde vision of the world of Sushi.

Le Testaurant is also famous for its 50 metre long engraved corian “kaiten”, the traditional sushi conveyor belt that snakes its way to the front window of the restaurant, affording the chain a unique branding opportunity. In this project, Lina Dietrich revisited the American ‘seventies diner’ concept, with a deferential nod to the ‘Manga’ universe to temper the Baroque elegance of this new ambience, while simultaneously accentuating the ‘glamour’ factor of this pink and blue decompression chamber in the Place de la Bastille… Kawai!
